5 Ways Extensions Annihilate Frizz Like YASS, Honey!

Regardless of where you live, frizzy hair has a tendency to always creep its nasty head. Whether it's rain, humidity, or other factors, frizzy hair can be a lot to deal with.

We recently sat down with one of our favorite Bohyme® Pro Artists, Shaylie George-Green of Image Maker Salon and Boutique, to discuss the benefits of using extensions to eliminate frizz and calm those unwanted, unruly strands once and for all!

Here are a few of Shaylie's tips for doing away with stubborn frizz using Bohyme®!

EXTENSION VOLUME ERADICATES FRIZZ

Extensions help with frizzy hair bar-none because they cover up so much of your natural hair. Your natural frizz is then virtually eradicated by the sheer volume of the extensions.

EXTENSIONS PROVIDE BEAUTIFUL, NATURAL TEXTURE

Extensions have much better texture, thus covering up the majority of your hair with extensions or blending them in (so the majority of what you see is extensions) will help to instantly eliminate frizz, especially that top messy layer that seems to almost "halo" around your head. You know what we’re talking about, right?! Not cute!

EXTENSION HAIR IS LESS DAMAGED

Extensions tend to be not as frizzy as your natural hair and there's not as much damage so by default they can give new life to a frizzy head.

EXTENSIONS STOP FLY-AWAYS

They have more weight! Extensions help calm hair down especially on stubborn frizzy, fly-aways. Those unruly fly-aways become tamed and weighed down making them easier to manage and become erased like...POOF!

YOUR NATURAL HAIR STARTS TO TAKE ON NEW TEXTURE

Like magic, you'll begin to see how your natural hair tends to take on the new texture of the extension (and not the other way around!). This insanely awesome morphing process will help camouflage and pull out some of the frizz, giving you the illusion of completely frizz-free hair.
