Bohyme Color Chart

We test thousands of color tones a year with the support and input from Bohyme® professionals worldwide. The high grade Remi® hair allows for dyes to penetrate the healthy, intact cuticles for long-lasting, pure colors. Combining the high quality hair with our gentle slow, methodical processes, creates blends exclusive to Bohyme®.

Balayage
Soft highlights blend the top and bottom colors where they meet for a seamless transition. Similar to Ombre but transitions between the colors are more blended.
Layered
One color is laid on top of another to mimic the effect of highlights. Because of the layering process, it is only available in machine-tied wefts.
Rooted
2-3 inches of root transitioned into another color.
Ombre
A gradual transition from one color to another.
Mixed Blends
A mostly solid color with dimensions of a secondary color.

How should I find the closest Bohyme® color match?

For the closest color match, compare your client’s hair with the Bohyme® Color Ring in person. The online chart is a helpful visual reference, but lighting and screen settings can affect how shades appear.

What is the difference between balayage, rooted, and ombre colors?

Balayage features soft highlights blended between the top and bottom colors for a seamless transition. Rooted shades begin with approximately two to three inches of root color before transitioning into another shade. Ombre shades transition gradually from one color to another.

What do A, B, and BL mean in Bohyme® color names?

A indicates Ash Blonde, B indicates Blonde, and BL indicates Platinum Blonde.

What is a mixed-blend color?

A mixed blend is a predominantly solid shade with dimension created by a secondary color.

What is a layered Bohyme® color?
