It is important to wash your Bohyme® human hair extensions with only sulfate-free or paraben-free shampoos specifically on the roots. Choose hair products that are all natural and alcohol-free. Any product that contains alcohol will cause hair to dry out and become brittle. Avoid excessive heat which can dry out and or damage the hair. Also avoid infusing your hair extensions with salt or chlorine water. Chlorine will string nutrient and color from your hair which may cause unintended color change.

The natural oils of your hair will not reach the tips of your extensions. We recommend using small amount of almond or coconut oil 2-3 times a week to moisturize the tip of your hair extensions. Argan oil is a great finishing oil for styling and frizz. When using conditioners, waxes, gels, serums or oils, avoid contact with the bond areas and use only from mid-length to the ends of extensions. Avoid finishing products that contains alcohol.

When selecting products for your hair extensions, we recommend choosing high quality products specifically formulated for dry and damaged hair, as they will help keep the strands healthy and nourished. Heat protectant sprays, serums and any other leave-in conditioners or treatments are also highly beneficial and will prolong the lifespan of your hair extensions.
