What are SKIN WEFTS?

A Skin Membrane, Tape or Adhesive Skin Weft hair extension is a hairpiece made from human hair, and can be attached to the wearer's scalp.

Skin Weft hair extensions are designed to mimic hair growing from the scalp which provide natural, undetectable transformations for color blending, volume, and fuller hair. They are made either with a thin skin-like membrane or commonly found also as adhesive tape-ins. The weft base is virtually undetectable because hair is laid flat along the weft without any seams and designed to match your scalp.

Traditional machine-tied hair extensions are made by folding the hair strand ends and then sewing it in place. This results in a 'bump'  due to the thickness that is created via this sewing method.

Skin Wefts are made with hair being aligned with the weft, whether it be a skin membrane or an adhesive tape strip. Skin wefts also benefit from less tangling and shedding due to providing no 'return hair' like traditional wefts. They look natural, light weight, and lay flat allowing for a natural hair line.
