pursuing beauty and passion

Weston's journey into the world of hairstyling is a testament to his resilience and pursuit of true passion. After dedicating six years to the medical field, he found himself seeking a more fulfilling path. Opting to start afresh, he enrolled in cosmetology school with the goal of unleashing his creativity while simultaneously making people feel beautiful. Weston's professional odyssey began when he took on a part-time role at Studio RK Salon in Fort Myers, Florida, where the vibrant atmosphere and the joy radiating from clients leaving the salon sparked his determination to pursue a career in hairstyling.

Since becoming a licensed cosmetologist in May 2021, Weston has embarked on an impressive career trajectory. Starting as an associate at Studio RK Salon, he rapidly ascended to the position of a level 4 stylist. In 2022, he received recognition as one of Beauty Launch Pad's 30 Under 30, a testament to his passion and dedication to the craft. Fueling his journey is not only a deep love for the artistry of hairstyling but also the inspiration drawn from his salon family—a group of 50 powerful and beautiful women who motivate him to excel in his role as the only male stylist at the salon.

"My inspiration is my salon family. I work with 50 beautiful and powerful women, being the only male stylist at my salon I feel like I have to keep up with these amazing women. That is what inspires me!"- Weston G.
